or maybe we should call it by it’s original title: The Great Game?
This is your friendly reminder that DR3 is continuing its repeat of Sherlock tonight with the series 1 finally, at 21:00 UTC +2.
As always, you’ll be able to watch it on your tv by tuning into DR3, or you can watch it online here.
The episode is in HD and with danish subtitles.
DR3 is also the channel which will be airing series 3 of Sherlock in Denmark. You can read more about that here.

As promised earlier, here is an update on if Series 3 of Sherlock will air in Denmark.
The short answer is yes, it will air on Danish TV. Specifically DR3
DR3 is currently airing series 1 and 2 of Sherlock every sunday at 21:00, and they have already secured the rights to air series 3, once it’s ready to hit the screens!
They are expecting to air it December of this year, or January 2014, and we will, as always, give you guys an update once we know more.
Or “Den Blinde Bankmand”, if you will.
DR is again airing the first series of Sherlock, and tonight it will be The Blind Banker that’ll fill the screen on DR3.
Just like last time the episode is airing at 21:00 UTC +2, and just like always it’s possible to stream DR3 on DR’s website.
This episode is also in HD, surround sound and with Danish subtitles.
There is currently a post with what appears to be new series 3 posters going around on Tumblr. The posters aren’t in fact new, but edited versions of series 2 promo photos, and if you go to the original source of the posters, you will see that they are fanmade (link to source).
DR3 is airing A Study in Pink tonight at 21:00 UTC +2. If you are in Denmark then you will also be able to stream it on DR’s homepage (link).
It currently looks like they will air at least the entire first series over the next three weeks (28/4, 5/5, 12/5) and all at 21:00. We’ll give you a heads up when we know if series 2 is being air as well.
The episodes are in HD and with Danish subtitles.
Principal photography has begun today on the second episode of Sherlock Series Three.
Sherlock S3E2: The Sign of Three
Written by Stephen Thompson, Directed by Colm McCarthyThe episode will film over the next few weeks and will complete shooting next month. Following the wrap on The Sign of Three, a long scheduled break in production will occur to allow cast and crew to fulfil other commitments. Production will then resume later in the summer with the filming of Sherlock S3E3. The final episode in Series Three will be written by Steven Moffat, but the director is currently unannounced.
As previously noted, this is the first time the episodes in a series of Sherlock are being produced in episode order. Series One saw production begin with S1E3: The Great Game, followed by S1E2: The Blind Banker and S1E1: A Study in Pink, while Series Two commenced with S2E2: The Hounds of Baskerville, then S2E3: The Reichenbach Fall and S2E1: A Scandal in Belgravia.
And finally, as we said when S3E1: The Empty Hearse started production, these are our promises to our readers:
- We will never reveal ANY plot spoilers for the new series ahead of the broadcast of the new episodes unless they are officially sanctioned for release by the production team.
- We are not able to publicise any location filming that we may become aware of ahead of time due to issues of confidentiality, and the possibility of impacting the work of the cast and crew. Large numbers of people standing in a crowd have the potential to affect the filming, and we will be trying our best to ensure the crew has a minimum of disruption.
The second episode of series three will be written by Reichenbach Fall writer Stephen Thompson and is titled The Sign of Three.
Filming on Sherlock Series Three is about to enter an important stage.
Sue Vertue, producer on the series, has sent us the following statement:
Hi, Sue Vertue here.
As many of you are aware, we’ll soon be embarking on our first London leg of filming for series 3. I’m also aware that there is quite a lot of speculation about where we’re shooting when. I can’t stress how much we the Producers and Benedict, Martin and the rest of the cast appreciate your love and dedication to our show - we’ll endeavour to live up to your expectations for Series 3.
What I am nervous about is that our London shooting schedule is punishing and will really give us very little time to interact with you. The actors really hope you understand that.
Also, and I know this is probably asking a lot, the majority of fans and indeed ourselves would REALLY appreciate it if you didn’t post pictures or spoilers or ideally our daily locations.
Thanks for your understanding. Sue x
